We work with leather chosen for its character — a living surface that marks, softens and deepens with use. No two hides read the same. Variation is part of the material, not a fault to hide. That idea sits at the centre of Our Craft.
Colour will deepen and the surface will gloss where hands rest. Fine scratches are part of how leather lives; many will soften as the surface oils redistribute. Light, oils and handling slowly change the surface. The bag becomes a record of where it has been.
A bag that never changes has not been carried. We believe a great leather bag becomes more beautiful with time. Care is there to support that ageing — not to freeze the hide in its first week. For the habits that help, see Leather Care or how to care for a leather bag.
If you are choosing a piece to live with, start with the Sundha Crafts collection.
